MiMa – Marching in Musical Advocacy, Inc. is continuing to expand its vision, language, and community impact. While our founding identity remains rooted in music, advocacy, youth leadership, and cultural remembrance, MiMa is also developing broader program language that reflects the full scope of our mission.
As MiMa grows, you may begin to see expanded references such as:

* Matriculating in Musical Advocacy
These expressions represent the evolving ways MiMa serves students, families, communities, and cultural partners through music-centered education, mentorship, leadership development, civic engagement, and direct community support.
Why the Expanded Language?
MiMa began with the powerful symbolism of marching: moving forward together, step by step, with purpose and discipline. That vision remains central.
However, our work is also about more than marching. It is about movement. It is about student growth. It is about mentorship. It is about helping young people matriculate into stronger musicians, leaders, scholars, and community advocates.
