NORTHWEST CLASSIC 2013
During Fall 2019, most of this marching band, which was passionate about music advocacy, consisted of first-year instrumentalists, with only a handful of second-year players and one experienced clarinetist. Despite their limited experience, this group displayed unmatched heart, perseverance, and dedication while performing weekly at football games. Their growth throughout the season reflected determination, teamwork, and pride, much like the inspiring music advocacy pictures showcased at the MiMa Inc gallery.
Recorded during my fifth year at Ribault High School, this ensemble featured a strong group of mostly grade-level musicians, with one beginner on tuba/sousaphone. Their sound, discipline, and commitment fostered an outstanding band culture and memorable performances built on teamwork, growth, and excellence, all while marching in musical advocacy. The experiences captured in music advocacy pictures highlight the essence of our journey, which can also be explored further in the MiMa Inc gallery.
This video was recorded during the pep rally before the first football game of the season. The halftime show celebrated Whitney Houston, while the band showcased their marching in musical advocacy by performing marches from memory in the stands. The sound, skill, pride, and chemistry of this ensemble made them truly unforgettable, reminiscent of the powerful music advocacy pictures featured in the MiMa Inc gallery.
